Awesome Way to have Awesome Dinner

Last night for dinner, I had this:

That, my friends, is a big slab of honey glazed salmon with a side of mixed veggies.

Now, I don't expect anyone to be able to afford to make this. I know I can't. So I bet you're wondering what awesome super genius idea gave me the ability to make something as expensive as salmon, right? SIMPLE! Stupid rich people.

Okay, I'm just kidding, no one here is stupid, or even "rich" per say, but the point is, I didn't buy anything for this meal, I just made it. A bud of mine wanted me to cook for him, but because I'm such a practical person, I was wondering what I'd get from said situation. He offered to buy the food if I made it. Almost instantly, I yelled "WE'RE HAVING SALMON!" So that's how I can afford this. If you want to do that same, find a financially comfortable person who can't cook (or can but just wants you to).

BUT! I should still tell you what's going on with this dish . . . I guess.

Just kidding, why else would I have the blog, right?

Anyway, this one is my mom's recipe that I ripped off entirely.

You need:
A good sized salmon fillet (we got two about the size of the one in the picture)
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup brown mustard (ours was spicy)
1/4 fresh dill, or 1 package
salt (optional)

1. Preheat the over to 450 degrees F.
2. Mix the honey, mustard, and dill (remove the dill leaves from the stems, throw the stems away, and chop the leaves if you'd like)
3. Put foil over a cookie sheet and spray with a non-stick spray for easy clean up later.
4. Put Salmon fillet(s) on foiled cookie sheet and pour on your honey mustard dill mix.
5. Set in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes until done.

For a side, mixed veggies or wild rice is good.
So go get that friend and make some heaven on a plate!
